Course Description
The BEd in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training (FET) specialising in Accounting, Economics, and Business Studies prepares students to teach commercial subjects to learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12. The programme focuses on developing both subject knowledge and effective teaching methods that help learners understand business concepts, financial management, and economic principles. Students learn how to design lessons, assess learner performance, and apply different teaching strategies that make complex topics easier to understand. Teaching practice forms an important part of the programme, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience.
