Course Description

The Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase specialising in Languages, Social Sciences, and Life Skills prepares students to teach learners in Grades 4 to 6. This programme focuses on developing the knowledge and teaching skills needed to present subjects that help learners understand language, culture, society, and personal development. Students study teaching methods, curriculum planning, and assessment strategies while gaining a strong foundation in the subjects they will teach. The course also includes practical teaching experience in schools, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real classrooms and learn how to support learners during the important transition from early schooling to more advanced academic learning.
