Expected Release Date for 2025 Matric Results

The 2025 matric results are expected to be released on 13 January 2026. Siviwe Gwarubethe, the minister of Department of Basic Education will announce 2025 matric results on the 12th of January 2026.  

When Will Learners Be Able to View Their Results?

There are usually two important dates to remember:

  • Official announcement date – This is when the Minister of Basic Education announces the national matric results and overall pass rate. (12 Janaury 2026)

  • Learner access date – Learners are normally able to access their individual results the day after the official announcement (13 January 2026)

Once released, learners will be able to access their 2025 matric results in several ways:
