Course Description
The BEd in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training (FET) specialising in Languages prepares students to teach language subjects to learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12. The programme focuses on developing strong subject knowledge in languages as well as teaching methodologies that help learners improve their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. Students study language education, curriculum development, and assessment methods while also learning how to create engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and effective communication. Teaching practice forms an important part of the programme, giving students practical classroom experience.
