Course Description
The BEd in Intermediate Phase is designed for students who want to teach learners in Grades 4 to 6. This programme equips future educators with the knowledge and skills required to teach subjects such as Mathematics, Languages, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences during the critical middle years of schooling. Students learn about curriculum planning, assessment methods, and effective teaching strategies that help learners transition from basic foundational skills to more advanced academic learning. Practical teaching placements are included to give students real-world classroom experience while developing their ability to support learners academically and socially.
