For South African Applicants

Academic Records: Certified copy of your final Grade 11 results if you're currently in Grade 12, or your final Grade 12 certificate if you've completed school.

Identification: Certified copy of your South African ID.

Email Address: A valid email address for correspondence.
For International Applicants

Academic Records: Certified copies of your school-leaving results and academic transcripts.

Identification: Certified copy of your passport or birth certificate.

English Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency if English was not the medium of instruction. UJ accepts IELTS (overall score of 6) or TOEFL (average score of 80–104) for undergraduate programs.

Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of R200. Online applications are free.
