What Programs and Courses Are Offered

1. National Certificate (Vocational) — NCV Programmes

These courses are designed for students who have completed Grade 9 or higher and want a strong foundation that combines theory with practical skill development.

NCV programmes are aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and prepare students for both employment and further study.

These programmes focus on practical skills and often include project work, workplace exposure, and assignments that reflect real industry tasks.

2. NATED (Report 191) Courses

Report 191 courses — also called NATED programmes — are structured qualifications that take learners from N1 through N6 levels, typically requiring Grade 12 for entry. These programmes are ideal for students who want technical skills in engineering or business.

3. Artisan Trade Test Programmes

These programmes are tailored for students who want hands-on trade qualifications and often include tests required for trade certification.

Why Students Choose Ingwe TVET College

There are several reasons many learners see Ingwe as a strong college choice:

  • Practical, industry-aligned training: Programmes focus on real skills employers need.

  • Multiple campuses: This makes the college accessible to students across rural parts of the Eastern Cape.

  • Affordable education: TVET colleges are generally less costly than universities, and NSFAS funding helps students from lower-income households.

  • Career readiness: Graduates often find work quickly in technical and business roles thanks to the practical experience built into programmes.
