University of the Witwatersrand APS Calculator
Important Notes:
- English must be taken either as Home Language or First Additional Language
- Mathematics is compulsory for all numerate programmes
- Mathematical Literacy is only considered for LLB, Education and some Humanities programmes
- APS calculation is based on the best seven subjects including Life Orientation
- English and Mathematics receive bonus points (+2 for scores ≥ 5)
- Life Orientation has a different scoring scale (max 4 points)
