About UNISA APS
UNISA uses the APS (Admission Point Score) system to determine admission eligibility for various qualifications. Your APS is calculated based on your National Senior Certificate (NSC) results, using your best 6 subjects (excluding Life Orientation).
UNISA APS Points Guide:

| 80% - 100% | 7 |
| 70% - 79% | 6 |
| 60% - 69% | 5 |
| 50% - 59% | 4 |
| 40% - 49% | 3 |
| 30% - 39% | 2 |
| 0% - 29% | 1 |
Important Notes:
- APS is calculated using your best 6 subjects
- Life Orientation is excluded from the calculation
- Subjects below 30% count as 0 points
- Meeting minimum APS does not guarantee admission
- Some qualifications may have additional subject requirements
